Project Summary
As part of a redevelopment project in Old Town Manchester, stormwater storage was needed in a tight back alley parking space lot where there were utilities in the ground. A small-footprint stormwater detention system needed to be chosen to satisfy the requirements of space constraints and shallow footprint requirements. A standard-size system would not fit in the available footprint and would be in the way of the shallow utilities present on site. Small construction equipment was utilized to install the R-Tank in the small space allotted.
Solution
The engineer was able to utilize our R-Tank UD system to satisfy the storage needs in spite of the space constraints of the site. Ferguson was able to assist with design, on-site technical support and helped install the R-Tank units for another successful R-Tank installation.
Product Advantages
– shallow system, minimal cover
– fits in small footprint applications
