GeoCurve
A durable, reusable stormwater inlet filter, GeoCurve, for sediment and debris control
The GeoCurve Stormwater Curb Inlet Filter is a reliable solution. It prevents both sediment and debris from entering storm sewer systems, meanwhile upholding stormwater management requirements (SWPPP). Because of its compression-fit technology, it provides a snug, secure fit within the inlet. Consequently, it is discreet and out of the street.
How to use the GeoCurve inlet filter.
Civil engineers and landscape architects rely on GeoCurve for its ease of use. Not only is installation fast, but also it is simple to remove, clean, and reinsert. As a result, the GeoCurve is a highly reusable and environmentally friendly curb inlet filter. Furthermore, its corrosion-resistant galvanized steel is durable and the GeoCurve’s design has been hydraulically tested to handle overflow scenarios. Not to mention, it does not require fasteners.

What type of debris does the GeoCurve prevent from going into the sewer?
Professionals use this device to effectively capture sand, silt, dirt, pebbles, leaves, grass clippings, human trash, and construction debris. Check and clean the curb inlet filter often to ensure collected materials do not interfere with the unit’s effectiveness. Furthermore, reference state and local guidelines for maintenance requirements.
How is GeoCurve held in the sewer?
Due to the structure’s spring tension, compression holds the unit in place. Consequently, no fasteners are required. As a result, professionals install, remove, and replace the unit in seconds.
Do I need to use sandbags with GeoCurve?
Unlike filtration logs, this is a completely self-contained system. As a result, effective use does not require additional items. Just install as directed and walk away.
What tools do I need to install GeoCurve?
Push the unit into the throat of the sewer with a push broom or garden rake. If the inlet is not a standard width, then manually adjust the filter to fit the width of the opening. Trim the wire with wire cutters, cut the filter medium (if necessary) with scissors, bend and shape with metal with pliers, and fasten additional filter length to the GeoCurve wire grid with staples or hog ring pliers. How often should GeoCurve be cleaned?
Ensure maximum performance by cleaning the curb inlet unit at regular intervals. Furthermore, to remain compliant, reference local and state requirements. However, it is recommended to remove accumulated silt when it reaches 2 inches deep or 1/3 inlet height.
How do I remove the sediment and trash out of the GeoCurve?
Simply remove the unit from the sewer. Then shake out the trash and sediment into a waste receptacle. If the filtration medium is heavily clogged with sediment, then use a hose to rinse it out.
What sizes does the GeoCurve come in?
Select from two standard heights and a variety of widths. The two heights we offer are Standard and Shallow.
GeoCurve – Standard: Recommended for 7” – 12” high inlets
GeoCurve – Shallow: Recommended for 4” – 8” high inlets
Available Product Widths:
- 10′ (most common)
- 8′ (2nd most common)
- 7′
- 6′
- 5′
- 4′
- 3′
How long does the GeoCurve Inlet Filter last?
The GeoCurve is environmentally friendly and reusable. Furthermore, the galvanized steel is corrosion-resistant. With proper care, expect the inlet filter to last for years. In fact, many customers tell us that they’ve used it over and over on many different jobs.
What happens to GeoCurve during a torrential rain event?
Geocurve has been hydraulically tested to pass over 150 gallons/minute. If the flow of water is faster than the filtration system can keep up with, then the water automatically flows over the top overflow window of the GeoCurve. Even when that occurs, all large debris is still filtered, as well as the majority of small debris. This is the key benefit of the unit’s patented design.
The sewer inlet has an odd shape, can we still use GeoCurve?
Yes! Customize the curb inlet filter with hand tools. All you need are pliers and work gloves to fashion it to virtually any conceivable sewer inlet.
