RockIn Filter
High-Flow Geosynthetic Curb Inlet Filter
The RockIn Filter is a high-flow geosynthetic curb inlet filter. The filter is 6’ long with a 9” diameter. When the filter arrives on your job site, it is ready to fill with suitable high-flow, high-filtration media–for example, rock or mulch. The innovative design makes installation and maintenance fast and simple. Furthermore, the unit lasts for the duration of the project because it is reinforced with a heavy-duty geosynthetic grid.
How do you install the RockIn Filter?
Firstly, fill the unit. Currently, the required fill is #57, #67, or #68 stone or DOT-approved mulch. Then seal the filter and move it into place. Please note that the filters can be filled with any high-filtration media. Overall, installation is quick and easy.
Does the RockIn Filter require maintenance?
The filter requires regular inspections to ensure ponding does not occur. Before, during, and after heavy rainfall events, check the filter. To clean the filter, clear the surrounding area with a shovel. In addition, use a broom to remove sediment that’s on the filter.
